From the sun-kissed streets of Southern California, Thurst One’s affinity for hip-hop took root early. High school was a pivotal time where “cyphering” and freestyle rapping with friends ignited a deep-seated passion for the genre, laying the groundwork for a lifelong pursuit of musical exploration.

Journey into

Electronic Music

As the new millennium dawned, Thurst One ventured into the electrifying world of electronic music, with Drum and Bass resonating deeply with him. By 2005, his involvement in Los Angeles’ underground rave scene had solidified, earning him a prestigious residency at the celebrated Samurai Sundaze, an event curated by industry luminary Sam Robson (aka XXXL aka SamXL).

Growth and Education

2008 marked a period of introspection and growth as Thurst One relocated to North Lake Tahoe. This chapter was crucial in reaffirming his dedication to music, a journey that led him to Full Sail University. There, Thurst One honed his craft, graduating with honors in Music Production and Entertainment Business in 2020.

Love and Collaboration:

Deep Dive

While attending Full Sail University, Thurst One met the exceptionally talented Raina Rae. Their collaboration birthed the duo “Deep Dive,” unveiling the “Soulplay” EP in 2021—a testament to their synergy and shared vision. Raina’s solo work, produced by Thurst, further showcases their dynamic partnership, with a music video slated for release in March 2024, promising more evocative storytelling through music.

A Whole New Level:

“Papa Bear”

On January 11, 2024, Thurst One unveiled his most recent solo release titled “Papa Bear,” a sonic letter about life and love dedicated to his firstborn son, Coda Love Mix. This project showcases Thurst One’s multifaceted skills as he single-handedly wrote, produced, mixed, and mastered the track, embodying a heartfelt reflection on fatherhood. Complementing the song’s vibe, the artwork was crafted using Canva’s AI features, aligning with Thurst One’s personal brand and further solidifying his artistic identity.

New Horizons:

“Lock It In”

Continuing his journey of personal growth and sonic exploration, Thurst's latest release “Lock It In”  delves into the realms of personal intuition and self-actualization, encouraging listeners to align with their highest good. “Lock It In” embodies Thurst One’s commitment to fostering healing and transformation through music, marking another milestone in his odyssey of creating impactful, soul-stirring art.
